Spen is a personal finance tracking app concept designed to help users organize their spending and understand their financial habits. The goal was to create a simple yet insightful interface where users can manage income, categorize expenses, and visualize spending patterns effortlessly.

The challenge was to make finance tracking feel less intimidating and more personal. Most budgeting apps are data-heavy and visually cluttered, so the focus was on designing a clean, intuitive system that simplifies information without losing depth or accuracy.

I designed a minimal, user-friendly interface built around clarity and motion. Each expense category features recognizable icons and colors, while charts and summaries present insights in a visually digestible way. The app structure balances functionality with a sense of calm and simplicity.
The concept successfully visualizes how design can make finance management approachable and engaging. While not yet developed, Spen demonstrates a clear foundation for a practical, emotionally balanced personal finance experience.
